Today is Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl advertising is everywhere. Television is saturated with Super Bowl related ads and the game is still 8 hours away. Newspapers and magazines are full of ads. Supermarkets are full of Super Bowl specials. Even if you hate football, you have to know that the Super Bowl is happening. You’d have to be living in a cave to not see or hear an ad related to the Super Bowl. Today is the single biggest television event of the year and advertisers are paying $2.5 million for a 30 second commercial. Over 200 million people will be watching the game and commercials all over the world.
